Bylaws

The bylaws are rules that govern our operations, outlining how Continental Divide is run and managed.

The bylaws cover topics such as how trustees are elected, membership, member and director meetings, the annual meeting and duties of co-op officials. They also explain how Continental Divide disposes of revenue, capital credits and other co-op property.

Continental Divide's bylaws were last amended on April 30, 2016, at the co-op’s annual membership meeting by a majority of members registered. On April 25, 2026, your co-op will present proposed amended/restated bylaws for membership approval or rejection.
